What are the ways to prevent Global Warming?

I just wanted to know the various methods for global warming. I recently heard that there is a chemical which depletes atmospheric carbon content. Is this really true and what are other methods that we can follow to prevent Global warming?
i dont think you can prevent it but probably only slow it down at this stage.

Sorry man, it true there are chemical which depleting the earth of the natural resources. And I don’t think you can prevent it… but you can help change the amount of depletion. Like buying environmentally sound products, walking or riding your bike rather than driving your car, growing your own food rather than have it drove to your grocery store, don’t buy spray can products..etc.
Global warming, and cooling, are natural cycles. The ice caps and glaciers have come and gone many times naturally. If you love nature, why try to stop it?
Tell the sun to stop flaring up.
There’s nothing we can do. It’s a normal, natural process that’s been happening for BILLIONS of years. You way underestimate the Earth and way overestimate humans.

2. save electricity
3. change your lite bulbs
4. planting
5. turn down heat in winter that helps the climate. aka snow or ice.

2. Run around screaming for awhile.
3. Give all your money to the environmental companies that are of course only looking out for you.
4. Try the hammer some more.

There are many chemicals which react with CO2. But the thing is that we would need billions of tons of any of these chemicals to make any difference, mining them or creating them takes energy to do which in turn creates more CO2, and would have other negative side affects on the environment.
The best thing that we can do to minimise global warming is to decrease greenhouse gases.
The same thing people have been doing for the last million years, ignore it. there is no danger except in the minds of a small group of politicians looking to enhance their power. We have experienced much more severe climate bot hotter and colder in just the last 600 years. The only reason this is raising all the attention now is the schools are no longer teaching the true history of the world but an edited version aligned to a particular political view.

The last glacial maximum occurred about 18,000 years ago and shortly after that about 16,000 years ago is when the glaciers started melting. Global climate temperatures reached there maximum about 7,000 to 6,000 years ago and have cooled off since. We are currently close to but slightly cooler than the mean average temperature for the Holocene climate period that we are currently living in. We still do not know what caused this sudden warming 16,000 years ago and probably never will unless somebody invents a time machine that will let us go back and study it.

Believe it or not- reducing meat consumption is one of the best ways to prevent global warming. (I’m not trying to impose any viewpoints on anybody here just trying to bring to light a little known fact.) 18% of all greenhouse gases are produced by livestock which is more than an our entire transportation industry. Cows raised for livestock produce 396 times the amount of methane that our commercial practices do. Additionally, many thousands of acres of forests are cut down to make space for different livestock practices.
