How can I measure greenhouse gas emissions of a car?

I’m doing a science experiment of different octane levels in gas and how much greenhouse gases each put out. What device can I get to measure this. If none, than something that measures just CO2?
co2 is soluble in water and if you put a water holder or something the sooner it gets black is the emmission
Even if different octane levels will translate to different CO2 levels in the exhaust, it seems like you will need a pretty sensitive meter to measure the difference.
