How can global climate change be a result of humans?

I believe that global climate change is real, but is not a result of humans. Many people that believe humans have caused global climate change also believe that there was once an Ice Age. Well, if there was an Ice Age before, then that means that all that ice melted. Wouldn’t that be Global Climate Change? And then, that would prove that Global Climate Change is a natural occurrence not a human caused occurrence. It just doesn’t make sense how people can claim there was an Ice Age and then say that Global Climate Change is caused by humans.

What are we currently doing to prevent Global Warming?

What things, like reasearching hybrid technology, are we doing right now to prevent the greenhouse effect and global warming?
Wow Dp. You are hilarious.

Thank you for that douche bag.

Was the climate change email fraud just a red herring to smear global warming scientists?

Phil Jones and others have been smeared. According to the international panels statement “the scientific reputation of Professor Jones and CRU remains intact” climate change is still a fact. What did the emails show. Nothing.

East Anglia and the Climate Research Unit (CRU) have been cleared and can proceed with the quality research on global warming. Now that this has blown over, should we all get on with Ktoto and beyond?

Where to recycle a clothes washer for the CA Energy Star rebate?

I recently purchased a washer that qualifies for the Energy Star rebate. The deadline is coming soon and I have no idea where I’m supposed to recycle my old washer to claim the rebate in Southern California (inland empire area). Does anybody know?
Thanks!

How will the climate change after the nuclear explosion?

 This is a science report.

Nuclear explosion not only will cause the radiation damage and death of many people, it will also change the climate dramatically in the area where it happened. And if the nuclear war will start, it will change the climate of the whole world. This possibility, proposed in a paper published by an international group of scientists in December 1983, has come to be known as the “nuclear winter” theory. According to these scientists, the explosion of not even one-half of the combined number of warheads in the United States and Russia would throw enormous quantities of dust and smoke into the atmosphere. The amount could be sufficient to block off sunlight for several months, particularly in the northern hemisphere, destroying plant life and creating a subfreezing climate until the dust dispersed. The ozone layer might also be affected, permitting further damage as a result of the sun’s ultraviolet radiation. Were the results sufficiently prolonged, they could spell the virtual end of human civilization.

I wonder than the country we live, the envoriment, the climate effects our eye colour, hair colour, weight, tall? What do you think, for example someone went a country, does his generation has different phsical features?
Brailleonsundays, thanks, I know that bu I asked a different thing. If you go different country, has your generation got different features?

What would the climate effects of a Supervolcano be?

I am doing a research project on Supervolcanoes and their climate effects. If I were to (hypethetically) say that The supervolcano under Yellowstone National Park were to erupt, I know that the surfuric acid cloud would kill everything within between 250-700miles, create a nuclear winter, result in lower temperatures by 10-15C, and destroy our ecosystems.

How long would it take before the ecosystems were able to recovery, and how long would (the remainder) of humans be forced to survive with limited vegetation? And how long would the nuclear winter last? (I have heard people state between 4-5years, up to 10-12 years?)

Thanks for any possible assistance. :-)

What % of energy will I save in using an Energy Star dryer instead of a regular dryer?

How about a Energy Star HDTV vs. A regular HDTV?

How do I add energy to my climate change and energy conference?

I am organising a short conference on climate change and energy at work. How best do I ignite people’s interest? Can you think of any interactive elements that I can use? Any ideas (however wild) are welcome.

I also want to minimise the carbon footprint of the event. Can you recommend any caterers that offset their energy expenditure?
Reply to D S – Yes I am a cult leader, but only in my spare time. This conference is being organised in my other capacity as a bureaucrat.

Ideas required – 10 points guaranteed
