Stephen Henry Schneider (February 11, 1945 — July 19, 2010) was Professor of Environmental Biology and Global Change at Stanford University, a Co-Director at the Center for Environment Science and Policy of the Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies and a Senior Fellow in the Stanford Woods Institute for the Environment. Schneider served as a consultant to federal agencies and White House staff in the Richard Nixon, Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, George HW Bush, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama administrations. His research included modeling of the atmosphere, climate change, and “the relationship of biological systems to global climate change.” Schneider was the founder and editor of the journal Climatic Change and authored or co-authored over 450 scientific papers and other publications. He was a Coordinating Lead Author in Working Group II IPCC TAR and was engaged as a co-anchor of the Key Vulnerabilities Cross-Cutting Theme for the Fourth Assessment Report (AR4) at the time of his death. During the 1980s, Schneider emerged as a leading public advocate of sharp reductions of greenhouse gas emissions to combat global warming. I believe that global climate change is real, but is not a result of humans. Many people that believe humans have caused global climate change also believe that there was once an Ice Age. Well, if there was an Ice Age before, then that means that all that ice melted. Wouldn’t that be Global Climate Change? And then, that would prove that Global Climate Change is a natural occurrence not a human caused occurrence. It just doesn’t make sense how people can claim there was an Ice Age and then say that Global Climate Change is caused by humans.
Phil Jones and others have been smeared. According to the international panels statement “the scientific reputation of Professor Jones and CRU remains intact” climate change is still a fact. What did the emails show. Nothing.
East Anglia and the Climate Research Unit (CRU) have been cleared and can proceed with the quality research on global warming. Now that this has blown over, should we all get on with Ktoto and beyond?
our planet is heating up and i want to know do you think we should act?…..in 18 years we are going to see huge effects on our world….we have all seen the ice melting and i hope it hits you all that animals are becoming extinct like tigers and polar bears…………………………………………………………………………………………….we are only going die no need to worry george bush has banned global warming and he wont let anyone help the fact that the whole world is heating up therefore massive floods effecting us all now think about that….
so my main question is…
DO YOU THINK GLOBAL WARMING IS EFFECT US AND WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT GEORGE BUSH.??
WHAT DO YOU THINK CAN HELP GLOBAL WARMING AND DO YOU CARE?
